Men fighting for women’s sexual liberation are doing so for their own interest. They want to get laid. They don’t give a shit about us.
I’d have to argue false
you’re a dude so literally No One Cares
This is exactly why so many men stay silent, even while supporting the cause of feminism, because too many feminists are vile man haters who want to see us silenced and censored. But who cares, right? Movements don’t need people, right?
You’re absolutely right, it’s feminists’ fault we don’t get rights, not the fault of misogynists at all.
Whatever. Take a walk through the past and tell me one way women are not 100% better off then they were and shudder as you come to the realization that not one of those advances would have happened with out men sympathetic to the cause of furthering equality. The truth is that misogynists, racists, ableists and their lot reside on the opposite side of the fringe of society that radical feminism lives on and has just about as much impact on the daily lives of society: none.
You are absolutely right. Any advancement made for women’s liberation has been because of men, not the women who bravely and fiercely fought to be recognized and taken seriously.
Our bad, all the praise to the men for all their hard work.
I never said that the women who fought fiercely for their rights didn’t play an integral part in the advancement of women’s rights; only that without sympathetic men it would not have been possible. It took the actions of both.
Men have had nothing to do with it. Sympathetic men my ass. You have not “given” us our rights, we have fought for them.
Feminism is for women, by women and we want you to stay the fuck out.
You’re right! Every victory was earned because of the completely overmatched freedom fighters and not because of dissension in the ranks of the ruling class. How could I forget the time that Susan B. Anthony punched Woodrow Wilson in the face and then took his pen and signed women’s suffrage into effect. What are you? Fucking thirteen? Read a history book, men have always held the power, and every advancement in anyone’s civil rights has come because “not all men” want to see people oppressed.
